Summary

(Gabe Christmas Eve) - The narrative moves back to the past. It is Christmas Eve, and Gabe is rushing to the cabin. He is almost certain that Mia is in the cabin and the local detective and his men are on their way there, too. Gabe fears that the detective will start firing to end things quickly if he finds Colin and Mia in the cabin. Gabe wants to get there first.
