Summary

In Chapter 22, the Missioners give their talk. They pass boxes around to collect money before their speech is over. The Vicar looks uncomfortable, and their actions surprise Flavia. After the talk, Flavia discovers that their tactics also surprised Reggie. As Flavia leaves, Colin thanks her for helping him see that that his future is not with the Church and that he will be better off making cricket bats.

In Chapter 23, Dogger reminds Flavia about the list of people who attended the reception. They study it and begin eliminating possible suspects.
