Summary

Chapter 25 begins with Tony telling Ryan the details of his involvement with Jimmy. Tony describes his inability to say no to Jimmy, and Ryan replies that “There’s always a choice” (337). Ryan then tells Tony that he will “sort this” (338). Tony pales at the implication that his son will kill Georgie.

Ryan then picks Karine up from nursing school and thinks on the necessity of both nurses and drug dealers.

After dropping Karine off at her parents’, Ryan finds and picks up Georgie off the streets.
