Summary

In Chapter 17, Adele paid Rhea a visit to ask her about Leo and Cece and the fling they’d had the summer that Phoebe died. She also asked the older lady if she believed Leo and Patrick had anything to do with Phoebe’s death. Rhea assured Adele that Phoebe had been a wild teenager and believed something would have happened to her sooner or later.

Rhea seemed to believe it was Phoebe’s mother more than anything who might have caused her daughter’s outlook on the world and resulting death.
