Summary

In Chapter 6, while the whole group of teenagers was hanging out at the Howes’ apartment, Tyler asked Pip and Grace if it was true that their father set fire to their house. Grace lied and said their father was dead. When Tyler left the room, Dylan apologized for Tyler’s behavior. He said she was jealous of them and explained that her life at home was difficult. Later, when Pip went to use the bathroom she saw Leo sitting next to Tyler, holding hands with Tyler’s head on his shoulder, she looked into Willow’s bedroom.

In Pip’s next letter to her father, she told him she thought there was something wrong with the people in the community that included the park. After she had seen Leo and Tyler together in such an intimate pose, she had gone walking around...
