Millennium

Millennium is the name of the magazine developed by Mikael Blomkvist and Erika Berger. It is a cutting edge, hard journalism magazine, the type that provides important news backed with exhaustive research. Blomkvist and Berger, who are intimately involved, work together to create Team Lisbeth, a group of people at the magazine who strive to prove that Lisbeth Salander is innocent in the murders of journalists in Stockholm. Berger and Blomkvist use their intuition, experience and extensive research skills to follow and unravel Lisbeth's story.

Millennium is also a publishing house. It is Millennium that will publish Svensson's article and book on sex trafficking in Sweden. The article and book will expose many public figures, many of whom are corrupt officials including police and attorneys. It is this expose that is at the root of several murders.
