Summary

This section begins with narration from the point of view of Jamie. Jamie visited the shire set up for the family in the apartment courtyard. He listened to the things that he people said about the family when the people with the television cameras interviewed them. Between looking between the couch cushions and emptying the change out of his mother’s wallet, Jamie put $5.83 in the collection can for the family.
