Lisbeth Salander

Lisbeth is a professional hacker who hacks into the NSA’s databanks to find out information on her estranged families illegal organization, the Spiders. But instead of finding info on Spider she discovers instead that the NSA are in league with Spider, and a company operated as a shell, named Solifon. She accesses and copies the files.

Salander takes to an autistic boy who helps her solve the mathematical formula to open the NSA files and expose the NSA. She risks her life many times in order to save August's life, not only because he has a phenomenal mind, but because she identifies with him because they are both survivors of parental abuse. It is because of her protection that August feels compelled to speak for the first time.
