Summary

Chapter 28

Lisbeth and August go to Hanna Balder's home. Inside the apartment Lasse has been arguing with her and is in the middle of striking her when they hear the doorbell. Hanna rushes to open the door and is shocked to see August and someone she doesn't know with him. Lisbeth gives August a nudge and he allows his mother to hug him, then Lisbeth pushes past them and gets in Lasse's face. She tells him that he's going to be packing. He starts to resist and Lisbeth beats him quite handily. He looks at Hanna and tells her to tell Lisbeth that she wants him to stay. Hanna, finally finding her backbone, tells him that he needs to leave. She also tells him that if he ever returns he will be dealt with much worse than she had done this time. She...
