Summary

Chapter 15

The focus in this chapter is on Salander. She's restless as she's heard about Frans' death. He'd told her to stay out of his business, a request that she'd honored, but now that he is dead, Lisbeth figures, all bets are off.

In the interim time she had done a little reconnaissance. She manages to find out which assistant stole Frans' work and learns that he came into a great deal of money, seemingly overnight. The assistant's name is Wrange, and he likes to frequent a nightclub where he meets women he's chatted with online, drugs them, then sexually assaults them. Lisbeth goes to the club and offers to play chess with him for drinks. She manages to beat him soundly, then lures him into a dark corner, with the promise of wild sexual exploits. However, when they are alone, Salander threatens...
