Summary

In Chapter 19, Ch’ayña talked to Atik about the test he was going to take to get into Crystal Academy. She warned him that she had seen boys in her village go off to fancy schools and come back unable to fit in with his family and friends. She did not want Atik to do the same thing.

In Chapter 20, Beck took the twins to the CogPro test. When he found out that the kids would have to interview after the test if they passed, he said that it was ridiculous and public schools should not require interviews. He got angry and told the boys that they were leaving, but Aidan said he wanted to take the test. Beck took Charlie to get ice cream and called Azra, who was angry and disappointed in him.
