Summary

In the section “Here in Your City,” Shep had recovered from his stroke with no lasting damage. When Perdita did not come back to see him he knew that Clo had told her about the BabyHatch. He told Clo they had to finish the deed now that they had started it. Clo got the address he needed from Autolycus. Autolycus asked why he needed the address but Clo would not tell him. He suggested Autolycus ask Shep. Afterward, Clo arrived at the abandoned looking house. He broke a window to get in and found Xeno in the attic. He told Xeno, whom he called Beano to “get it together” (234) because Shep wanted to talk to him.

Back in London, Lorraine told Leo through her speaker phone there where three men to see him. Two were black and one was gay...
