Summary

In the section “Goads Thorns Nettles Tails of Wasps,” Leo followed Xeno into the underground car lot where their cars were parked. Leo went to his Jeep, a former Army vehicle. He revved the engine and smashed into the car being driven by Xeno. Just as Xeno realized it was Leo who hit him, Leo reversed and was preparing to jam into Xeno again. Xeno thought that Leo must be on drugs. Even as he tried to head for the exit of the lot, Xeno could hear Leo coming from the other direction. Xeno crashed into the wall of the parking garage to keep from colliding head on with Leo. Xeno took off on foot trying to get away from Leo, and was finally able to climb a barricade to escape from him.
