Obelisks

The obelisks symbolize the unknown. The purpose for the obelisks is unknown. Also, Albaster an Syen cannot tap into the strange power associated with the obelisks. No one is certain about the source of this power or the reason why the obelisks seem to be attracted to powerful orogenes.

The Implants

The implants symbolize the attempt to control Guardians. Alabaster tells Syen that these implants placed in the brains of Guardians negate their orogenic abilities.

Rings

The rings symbolize power and control. Orogenes are awarded rings for each level of power and control they reach in their training.

Safe

Safe is a beverage that represents the dangerous world in which Alabaster and Syen live. Safe changes color if any type of poison is added to it. It is offered as a drink when people, particularly in a negotiation setting, are meeting for the first time.
