Summary

In Chapter 57, Lucy asks Henry where he has been. He says he has been "here and there," which enrages Lucy, who is mad that he left Serenity behind (285). Henry accuses Lucy of being the one who left while he stayed behind with Serenity. He asks Lucy where she has been, and she says that she has been in hell. She pauses before introducing Marco and Stella to Henry. Lucy finally explains the baby to her children and that she and Henry are both there to see the baby. Henry admits he has already met Libby, who is "[h]ale and hearty, pretty as a picture" (286). He reveals that he planted a tracking device on Libby's phone and know that she is visiting with Clemency. The tracking device allows Lucy and Henry to listen in to everything Clemency, Libby, and Miller are talking about...
