Summary

The narrative then shifts to 1985. An aspiring artist named Bonnie contacted Caleb and Camille. Bonnie was a fan of Caleb and Camille’s work, and Bonnie proposed that they do something scripted and rehearsed. Caleb and Camille agreed, and they enlisted Annie and Buster as actors. Caleb directed the piece, and Camille acted in it as well. On the day of the shoot, Caleb was so exacting and domineering as the director that they made no progress. The crew became so frustrated that a few of them even physically struck Caleb. After the crew left in frustration, Caleb and Camille revealed to Bonnie that the real art piece had been Caleb’s intentionally frustrating behaviors.
