Chapter 20-27 Summary

Chapter twenty has Allanon, Amberle, and Wil entering the King's room to give him the news that Amberle is leaving the next morning to begin the trip with the Ellcrys seed. No one is with the king except Manx. The Bloodfire at Safehold lies within an area called Wilderun. It has few towns and the people are thieves, outlaws, and dangerous animals. Wil steps out of the King's chambers as Manx growls at him.

In chapter twenty-one Wil and Allanon discuss him using the Elfstones at the Rovers' camp site. Allanon explains that since Wil is only an eighth elf, the block Wil felt while trying to use them came from the other part of him that is human.
