Dwaleni Farms

Dwaleni Farms is the setting where most of the action of the novel takes place. Patricia and Looksmart talk in the main house while Richard wanders the property looking for Rachel’s grave. Because the builders have already started demolishing the farm buildings and have begun construction on the new homes, Richard does not recognize the familiar landmarks. He finds houses that are copies of the house in which he lives. However, each house is in an earlier stage of construction, confusing Richard even more.
