Summary

In Chapter 3, the dragonets can tell something is happening. Clay and Tsunami, as the only two who can swim underwater, swim up the river to the cave where Webs, Kestrel, and Dune spend their time. Tsunami glows, providing a light for Clay to follow. Careful not to be detected, they listen. The minders say Morrowseer is coming to visit. They discuss how Morrowseer (who issued the prophecy) might react, considering Sunny is not a typical SandWing and they replaced the broken SkyWing egg. Webs is surprised at the interest. He said he never expected to see Morrowseer again “After he dropped off Starflight's egg” (46). Clay wonders what this means.
