Summary

In Part III, Chapter 6, Jas feels irritated listening to Belle cry over her dead fish. She is preoccupied with Mum’s earlier announcement that she wanted to die. Obbe helped that they should all kill themselves; if they failed to, he would murder them. Afterwards Jas tried comforting Mum. Dad blamed her for the family’s unrest.

Bored with Belle's talking, Jas makes her ride the dummy cow. Obbe enters, proposing a new game. He makes Belle take off her pants and lie facedown on the cow. Jas pins Belle as Obbe lubricates a gun and shoves it into her anus. When she howls, the siblings flee. Feeling guilty, Jas asks Hanna to hold her. She hopes she never outgrows Hanna’s arms.
