Tommy Lee

Tommy Lee was born Thomas Lee Bass on October 3, 1962, in Athens, Greece. His father was a U.S. serviceman stationed in Greece when he married a native Greek girl. When Tommy is one year old, the family moves to California where Tommy shows strong signs of musical interest as a boy. Tommy drops out of high school his senior year to pursue rock music and forms his first group, Suite 19, which plays local gigs. Tommy meets Nikki Sixx during this period and they are the first two members of Motley Crue. Tommy becomes the group's drummer and is considered the most sensitive and emotional of the four members. Tommy indulges in alcohol and drug abuse just like the other band members and also engages in indiscriminate sexual relations with girls, often abusing them physically.
