Summary

Chapter 40

Paul recalls how Michel wrote a report on capital punishment not long ago. Michel worried about some of his opinions and asked Paul for help. Paul advised him through each draft of the report. A short time after Michel turned the paper in, Paul was called in to the principal’s office. During the discussion, Paul not only admitted to helping Michel form his odd opinions on the death penalty, but he assaulted the principal when the principal suggested that Paul might not be completely sane.
