Bud Is Prosecuted Summary

Bud is called into the courtroom, which is presided over by Judge Fang, a young magistrate originally from New York. The judge explains that Bud is accused of mugging and wounding a member of the Ashanti phyle. His victim is in the courtroom and identifies Bud as the criminal. The judge sees that Bud shows no remorse and that there is little mitigating circumstance to weight in his favor.
