Summary

Knowing that Louise will have the ferry that Carrie boarded home raided for drugs, Ian takes a small excursion boat out for the day. The ride is peaceful and Ian makes three Spanish friends while exploring the coast of Patmos. They pass the remains of the hippie camp. When the boat docks, Ian is about to go back to the Spanish tourists’ hotel room when Therese barrels frantically down the road on a motorbike. Ian waves to stop her, learning that Mr. K died in a New York City hospital.
