Vivek (Nnemdi)

Vivek is the main character. The plot revolves around the mystery of his death and his life. His point of view is sometimes depicted through third-person narrations from beyond the grave, in which he reflects on his experiences from when he was alive and speaks of the difficulty of being misunderstood. All of the other characters in the story have some association with Vivek.

The character who is closest to Vivek is Osita, his cousin and eventual lover. Vivek is also close friends with Juju, and he kisses her at one point.
