Chapter 6 Summary

Doomsday is in Metropolis and begins killing people. Lois is still talking into her tape recorder giving an account of the horrific acts that the beast is responsible for. Superman rushes in and picks Doomsday up and tries to fly him out of the atmosphere. The reporters in the helicopters can only watch.

Guardian is awake at the sight where Superman and Doomsday took off. He is talking telepathically with a creature called Dubbilex. Dubbilex says that the creature may in fact be a D.N.Alien that they have created. Guardian hopes that this isn't true but tells Dubbilex to try and mind read the creature to get a location of it's origin. Meanwhile Superman has the creature in the air when it suddenly is able to twist around and kick Superman away. Superman can't breath for a moment after being kicked...
