Summary

In Chapter 14, Starflight has a dream in which he and Clay are surrounded by scrolls. Starflight is excited by the potential information in the scrolls, but terrified by the amount of information he needs to learn. Fatespeaker wakes him. Flame has left the room and they follow. He discovers them jut before reaching the dungeons but continues on his quest anyway. He goes directly to Deathbringer's cage and asks for “the best way to kill another dragon fast” (129). Deathbringer already realizes Flame really wants to know “the best way to kill another dragon and not care” (129). His says it is important to believe it is necessary and that it is acceptable to question orders. Flame is skeptical and leaves.
