Chapters 13-18 Summary

In Chapter 13, Han meets with Crow and tells him about the Wizard Council meeting. Han tells Crow about Willo's claims of Gaven Bayar's attack on her. Crow finds this story to be highly believable, but he worries that it will not help Han win the High Wizard position. Crow recommends Han make a show of power, even offering to tell him where the wizard arsenal is. Han rejects he idea, but would like to know where the arsenal is. However, Crow wants to speak with Lucus Fraser first. Han initially refuses.

In Chapter 14, it is late at night. Amon comes to see Raisa. There has been another murder in Ragsmarket. Amon takes Raisa to see the bodies, to ask if she can identify writing left on the bodies. Raisa recognizes it as the symbol for Han's former street gang, but does...
