Chapter 12 Summary

McCoy and Pick drive the La Salle to the Foster Park Hotel in New York City. The clerk does not recognize Pick, but the night manager does and shows them to a penthouse suite over looking the park. It is then that McCoy finds out that Pick is heir to a hotel and shipping fortuine. Pick tells him not to mention that back at the base.

They go to some of the finer clubs in New York. Everywhere they go, the bar picks up the bill, but they do not have any success with women. Pick leaves a notice at the Harvard Club that their will be a cocktail party in his suite and that each man is to bring two girls.
