Summary

In Perceval’s office, Lorraine gets Gascoine’s passport number from Perceval. In her hotel, later, Lorraine watches the demonstrations surrounding the Berlin Wall on television. She then goes to a restaurant where she is hailed by Polish man. He tries to talk to her about her plans in Berlin but they are interrupted by a man claiming to know Lorraine. He indicates he is not surprised that he left her alone only for a moment and she already had a man flirting with her.

After the Polish man left, the new man introduces himself as Pierre Lasalle. He also tries to talk to Lorraine about why she is in Berlin.
