Chapter 17, Prince Alexi Tells of His Enslavement and Capture Summary

Prince Alexi runs away when learns he has been chosen as a Tribute to the Queen, but is quickly captured. Soldiers raid the village where he is hiding and apprehend Alexi, along with peasant children who will serve lower Lords and Ladies. Bound and laying face-down over the captain's saddle, Alexi is treated roughly by the captain and his men throughout the ride to the castle. When the men set up camp, Alexi is tied to a pole to endure the night's elements. He often thinks of escape but knows he cannot escape.

When Prince Alexi arrives at the castle, he is cleaned and groomed for his audience with the Queen. Alexi endures the Queen's examination, but when she prods his anus with a leather phallus, Alexi lies down and refuses...
