Beauty is terrified as Leon prepares her for the Bridle Path. Beauty is ignorant of what lies before her. Leon hushes her questions as he smooths long leather boots fitted with horseshoes over Beauty's legs and feet. Beauty watches the bustle as other slaves are prepared as she is. Still others assist groomers by polishing boots. As one such sobbing slave bends to polish Beauty's boots, Beauty sees the sign around his neck declaring him in disgrace. Leon adds a finishing touch of brass bells to Beauty's nipples before instructing her to march out of the room.
