Chapter 28 Summary

Breach picks up Ashil to take him to the hospital. Borlu takes Ashil's phone to call Dhatt. He gets Dhatt to find out where Bowden is. Dhatt calls Borlu back and says Bowden is near Copula Hall, but they don't know if he is Beszel or Ul Qoma, so nobody will touch him or arrest him. On his drive to Copula Hall, Borlu calls Corwi to tell her to meet him there. When Borlu arrives, he can Bowden pacing and Corwi and Dhatt standing on each of their respective sides. Bowden has some sort of ancient weapon in his hand and Borlu tries to get Bowden to admit which city he is in. Bowden doesn't.

Borlu continues to talk to Bowden. Essentially, Borlu gets Bowden to admit that he was in cahoots with Buric, Sears and Core, and Yaj, the sniper. It was...
