Chapter 23 Summary

Borlu wakes up in a room on a bed. He is dressed in gray clothing. A man, followed by a woman and a younger man enter the room. Borlu introduces himself and the man introduces himself as Breach. Borlu and Breach discuss that the sniper was one of the men from the True Citizens building that he and Corwi went to in Beszel. Breach says Dhatt is recovering and that Yolanda is dead.

After Borlu eats, the same trio returns to question him, about Orciny. Borlu explains the entire case and investigation to them. When he is done, Breach keeps pushing Borlu to tell them what he knows about Orciny and how it is connected to the investigation. Then, they show Borlu the film on Bowden and Dhatt's interviews.
