Chapter 10 Summary

The next day, Cameryn is glad for the chance to walk to school since nothing has yet been settled concerning Hannah or Rachel. Lyric is excited that Dr. Jewel is coming to town, certain he will catch the killer. When Cameryn asks Mammaw if they could have found Hannah if Cameryn had been the one to die, Mammaw realizes that Cameryn spoke to Justin but insists it is Patrick's secret to tell. Adam and Lyric wait for Cameryn at Lyric's house, and Lyric explains Adam needs to talk to someone about Rachel's death because he had a crush on her and is taking it hard. Adam is worried because his boss fired him and threatened to call the sheriff after finding some pictures he took of Rachel. Adam knows people call him a freak, but he would never hurt anyone.
