Summary

In Chapter 24, Kylie is disoriented when she wakes. She keeps thinking, “They're going to kill me” (Location 1372), but reassures herself that they are caught up in something horrible but are not horrible people. When the man comes downstairs with breakfast, he talks kindly to Kylie. They talk about the book Moby Dick, and Kylie feigns interest. The woman yells at him to come back upstairs.

In Chapter 25, Ginger gets an alert that the Bitcoin ransom has been made. She's surprised that Rachel paid so quickly, and knows this means she should have asked for more.
