Chapter 16 Summary

After discovering the body, Qwill notices the sheriff, but first, he tips off the "Something." Koko and Yum Yum are locked in the guestroom as the police remove the body. Though unofficial visitors are stopped at the entrance to the property, Arch Riker, who chooses to cover the story himself because he feels his friend may need the moral support, gets through with his press card but is restricted to the back porch. Qwill is asked to stand by but stay out of the way. He is able to identify the body as Iggy. The police question Qwill and he tells them that he has no idea who buried the body under his house. The police tell Qwill to keep them informed of his whereabouts and ask for his prints to check against those they have found. They also forbid him to discuss...
