Chapter 15 Summary

Qwill, Roger and Bushy are treated for exposure at the Pickax Hospital. Mildred feeds Koko and Yum Yum while Qwill is hospitalized, and she also picks Qwill up when he is released on Thursday. She blames the unusual weather on the UFOs and is offended when Qwill asks if the bright light pulsating in his window several weeks ago was a joke she was playing on him. She tells him that the foundation of his new addition is intact, but the rest blew away in the tornado. All three times she went to feed the cats, Mildred saw a truck in the driveway but no sign of the carpenter. After Mildred drops Qwill off at the FOO to pick up his car, Qwill dreads the sight of destruction at his cabin but is eager to see the cats. Qwill feeds Koko and Yum...
