Chapter 2 Summary

Carrie is in her calculus class when Sebastian Kydd walks in late. In the cafeteria, Carrie tells her friend Walt that Sebastian is in her class. Walt says all of the girls in school, including his girlfriend and Carrie's friend Maggie are fawning over Sebastian. Maggie, who is always emotional, says the guidance counselor threatened to suspend her if she wears the sweater she has on again. Carrie goes after Maggie and runs into Sebastian. Later, another of Carrie's friends who is a nerd, The Mouse, says she has a boyfriend and lost her virginity with a boy she met at a Washington DC camp over the summer.
