Bruno

Bruno is a nine-year-old boy when the novel begins. Bruno has lived in the same house in Berlin since he can remember. Therefore, when Bruno learns that his family is moving out of the house, he is deeply saddened. Not only will Bruno have to leave the house he loves so much, but he will be forced to leave behind the three boys he has sworn to be best friends with for life. Bruno is devastated.
