Summary

Chapter Eleven

Will and Maren manage to make it back onto the train after dealing with the hag and Brogan. Will is upset they had been keeping such a tight watch on him. Mr. Dorian starts to talk about the hag, how many think she’s a magical creature but he believes she is just something that science hasn’t figured out how to explain yet. He tells Will that he needs to steal the painting because the canvas was supposedly blessed by waters from the fountain of youth, so anyone who is drawn on it won’t age. Mr. Dorian is expected to die within the next two weeks, so if he can halt his aging he believes he will be safe.
