Summary

At the beginning of Chapter 11, Lilith has a bad dream and goes outside. She runs into Robert Quinn. He tells her that he does not like the insolence he senses in her. He threatens her and tells her to pull down her dress. Her youth shocks him. Later in the kitchen, the fact that she caused a death haunts her. She tries to summon the white part of herself so that she can think that it is nothing, as a slave's death is common. It does not work, though.

Meanwhile, all the other slaves are happy because it is Christmas Eve and they can celebrate. During the celebration, Lilith confronts Gorgon and says that she did not want Andromeda to die. Gorgon responds that she would not have died if Lilith had not wanted it. Gorgon leaves and then the Johnny-jumpers try...
