Point of View

“The Bone Season” by Samantha Shannon is told in the first person from the perspective of the protagonist, Paige. She is a voyant in the underworld of the Citadel of Scion-London. Through Paige’s point of view, the reader is able to step into the world of a voyant in the year 2059. Through her words and thoughts we understand how she is able to access the dreamscapes of the minds of others by using her advanced clairvoyant skills.
