Chapter 13 – His Picture

Paige first met Nick when she was nine and didn’t see him again until she was sixteen. He was the guest speaker at her school – Dr. Nygard. He talked about his career and had a question and answer session. After the lecture, Paige caught up with him. He remembered her. Her school mistress was standing by them and suddenly had a nosebleed. After she left, Nick asked her if people often had nosebleeds around her. She said that it did happen quite a bit and asked if he knew why. He told her he might know and that he’d be in touch with her again in a few days. He told her to not sign up for the university.
