Chapter 43 Summary

Barney says they'll build a home in Montreal near his dad. They'll spend time there and in the Blue Castle. The rest of the time they'll spend traveling. Valancy asks Barney to promise never to tell she asked him to marry her.

Chapter 43 Analysis

Valancy has made it full circle in her life. She went from an old maid without experiencing life and knowing what love is to having it all. She now has a husband, numerous houses and wealth. She has more than she has ever dreamed of having, or ever really wanted.
