Chapters 16-20 Summary

Chapter 16. Marilyn Bonner is bothered because she went to visit her husband's grave, she saw flowers on it. At the same time, Candy is packing her car with all her belongings, planning to leave town after work that night. Alan Bonner is planning on visiting the bar where Candy works and working up the courage to ask her out. Frank, Amanda's husband, is playing a bad round of golf and drinking too much. Ted wakes at home, feeling worse than before, and angry. He makes his way out to his truck to go hunt down Dawson. Abee wakes, feeling better for the first time in days, and watches his brother make a fool of himself as he stumbles to his truck.

Chapter 17. Dawson cleans up the Stingray, wishing he had never come back and seen Amanda again. Amanda packs her things...
