Summary

Fiona becomes depressed in the wake of Aubrey’s departure. She cries often, does not wish to do anything, and does not eat food except for a supplementary drink that the staff forces her to consume. She becomes less active, and Kristy tells Grant that her muscles have started to deteriorate due to her increased sedentariness. Grant continues to visit, and Fiona appears to develop a resentment for him. However, she allows Grant to read to her, which helps distract her a little bit.
