Summary

The story opens when the main characters, Fiona and Grant, are attending university. Fiona lives with her parents. Her father is a successful cardiologist, and her mother is Icelandic. Fiona has a generally playful personality, and she is courted by multiple suitors. Eventually, she is courted by Grant, and they decide to marry one another.
