Chapters 15 - 21 (Pages 84 - 112) Summary

The next time Denny goes out of town in Chapter 15, Eve, Zoë and Enzo spend some time at Eve's parents' home. Enzo calls Eve's parents, Maxwell and Trish, "the twins" because of their tendency to dress alike (85). Maxwell thinks Eve is too good for Denny. Eve tells Maxwell that she loves Denny no matter what anyone thinks.

In Chapter 16, Denny's career stabilizes, almost ensuring him a spot as rookie of the year. However, after an unfortunate dead-last finish, Denny is feeling uncertain of his future as a professional driver.

Eve begins feeling better. She is exercising regularly and eating well. Eve still complains that Denny goes out of town too often. They seem closer as a couple, though, and Enzo is satisfied with the way things are progressing.
