Tinderwick

Tinderwick is a small (fictional) town in Maine. Maddy has lived in Tinderwick for years. She lives on a farm with her significant other, Astur. Just before the Arrest occurred, Sandy went to Tinderwick to visit Maddy there. The Arrest then forced him to remain there, absent any means of long-distance transportation. Sandy took on the name Journeyman and began working as a delivery person. Life in Tinderwick is generally quiet and peaceful, but Todbaum’s arrival in the Blue Streak threatens to upset that peace.

The Lake of Tiredness

The Lake of Tiredness is a secluded area that is semi-remote from Tinderwick. It mostly consists of a remote cabin, and the area used to be completely abandoned. After the townspeople learned that Jerome Kormentz was sexually preying on teenage girls in Tinderwick, they exiled him to the Lake of Tiredness. Journeyman makes regular deliveries to Kormentz.
